26/2/2009· Okay, water pump torque for bolts is 27 ft-lbs. Got this pump from NAPA; also carries the pump. The rear backing plate is held on with 3 oversized phillips screws. There is a flat gasket between the plate, and the back of the pump, of which I used a light coat of hi-temp RTV to hold it in place on the pump.
