EPDM vs Silicone Rubber | The Difference | Silicone
When compared with silicone rubber, EPDM is significantly inferior with a maximum temperature of 130°C (266°F). Silicone can reach constant temperatures of 230°C (446°F) and up to 270°C (518°F) for special high temperature silicone grades. Elongation is how stretchy a material is and how it performs when being expanded and contracted.
